Newbiggin by the Sea

OLYMPIC TORCH TO PASS THROUGH NEWBIGGIN  (June 15th 2012)

We have learned from BBC Radio 5 Live that Newbiggin by the Sea will be one of the places that the Olympic Torch will pass through on its journey to London next year. Landlord Dennis was contacted by the Up All Night programme for his response to the news and this was broadcast at about 1.15am on Monday 7th November. They obviously found out that Dennis is generally up all night!!. Listen to the broadcast here.

Later in the programme there was a phone in when the public were asked to say what their town/village could offer to the public during the winter. BRING OUT THE SPOONS!!

What happens when everybody has had a good evening, most have become merry and someone brings a guitar out. Then somebody else finds the spoons and before you know where you are an impromptu concert has everybody really enjoying themselves.
